SAR Blog 5 Harem Stars

Finding an author that can give you a new fresh of supernatural twists, send your heart into a twisted frenzy, edge of your seat page turning scenes, and a hot harem in the mix? Well, let me tell you now that Jane can do all of that plus more! She is a genuis! This is the type of series you will never get enough of and then you are in a major book hangover & now begging for a spin off series!

Seraph and her pairs continue in the final book of "A Portrait of Pain".

"She had haunted most of my waking thoughts since the day I met her. This was no different, she was simply putting a little bit of active participation into the haunting."

APOP not only was a fantastic end of a beginning of your imagination but also gave us a more mature setting of Seraph, Miro, Silas, Cabe & Noah as their relationships grow between one another. This hauntingly beautiful twisted series brought tears of pain and joy to remember for a lifetime!

Trickery by Jane Washington & Jaymine Eve 5 Star Review!

This is a five star NO Spoiler Review by Secretly Adorkable Readers of Trickery (Curse of the Gods) by Jane Washington & Jaymin Eve!

The saying always goes that laughing is and will always be the best form of therapy. I just fell in love with all the characters and I want the next book now!

The chosen dwellers Emmy & Willa were called to go on a journey to Blesswood for school of elite sols. They will become servants for the sol gods who live there. Emma is a very smart and sophisticated type person while Willa is an extremely awkward and let's say a very uncoordinated person. The best part is meeting the hot delectable Abcurse brothers, Coen, Rome, Aros, Yael, and Silet. Bring on the Pain, Strength, Seduction, Persuasion, & Trickery!

I don't want to give much away but I know you will not be disappointed and if you a like a humorous type romance with a hot supernatural harem twist, this will be the book for you!

When the Dead Come a Knockin by B.L Brunnemer

My name is Alexis Delaney, and I’m your average 17-year-old girl. Except I’m a Necromancer. Which means I can see the dead, talk to them and help them move on. Well, I used to be able to. Someone as sealed the Veil. Now the dead are stuck here. And with the extra energy floating around town, the ghosts are getting stronger.

It’s been two months since I came to Spring Mountain to live with Uncle Rory. And the guys, my five best friends, have done everything they can to help since. Things for once were almost normal, my issues with the dead had become routine. Until they all found girlfriends. Now I’m back to hiding everything again. With ghosts leaving their haunting grounds at will, new people asking questions and trying to build my link to the Veil, I don’t know how the hell I’m going to pull this one off. But it can’t get that bad, right?

Speak No Evil

Kade Kingsley is sick of hiding out in the middle of nowhere.
He should be having a good time, partying and living it up, not playing bodyguard to his best friend’s runaway witness girlfriend.
When he decides to leave the mountainside he’s called home for the last two months, he promises to be careful. He knows the stakes are high, and he knows that the makeshift family he’s leaving behind is counting on him to come back.
What he doesn’t count on is getting mugged and left for dead.
And he definitely doesn’t count on being rescued by a girl with secrets of her own…secrets that rival his.

As Julienne Bishop, a down-on-her-luck girl hiding from an abusive ex-boyfriend, nurses Kade back to health, an uneasy bond forms between them. They need each other, even if they don’t realize it, and even if they have a hard time accepting it.
Because danger is coming at them from both sides, and they must figure out if they can trust each other.
Before it’s too late.

Trying to Live With the Dead by B.L. Brunnemer

SYNOPSIS

Hi, I’m Alexis Delaney. I’m your average 17 year old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead. And push them away and, well, help them move on. So..okay, I’m not your average 17 year old girl. For years I’ve been struggling to survive the souls still roaming around. The shitheads always seem to find me. Moving from town to town every few months never helped either. More dead just always find me. But things are changing for me now. I’m moving in with my uncle Rory and cousin Tara. I’m finally going to be able to do normal teenage stuff I’ve been missing out on. Right?

Well, if this one ghost could leave me alone on campus that would be great. Especially since I haven’t told my new friends about my abilities. Can you believe this? Five good looking guys practically adopt me on my first day of school, and I still think they’re a bit nuts for it. Now if I can only just keep my life with the dead from mixing with my normal life everything would be great. Yeah...I don’t see that happening either. But I’m going to give it a shot. Who knows? It might work.

***** 5 Star SAR Blog Review *****

If you like C.L. Stone, Jane Washington, Lane Whitt series, then you will enjoy this as well! I love a good paranormal with a twist especially with several gorgeous guys involved!

Trying to Live With the Dead is the first part of a trilogy for The Veil series by B.L. Brunnemer! Here is my review and I demand you get this book today! The next book in the series is not too far behind releasing!
Alexis Delaney comes from an abusive situation and ends up moving in with her Uncle Rory and cousin Tasha.  She is not your average 17 yr old girl. She can see dead people & hangs out with "five" hot guy friends at School!  Sign me up now!  Introducing you Alexis Isaac Turner is into skateboarding & MMA fighting, Ezekiel "Zeke" Blackthorn is the mechanic, Ethan Turner is in a rock band, Miles Huntington is a computer geek, & Asher Westfell plays sports.  I fell in love with each character even Uncle Rory!  I despise Tasha but I know there is more to her that I am sure we will find out later.  The dead are getting more evil & powerful by the second so I cannot wait for the next installment to see what happens next!

Whom will she choose if any?  What type of powers will Alexis receive?  I love a good suspenseful paranormal with lots of twists!

Here is the order of the series so far but several installments to come!

Book:  One
Trying to Live With the Dead

Book: Two
When the Dead Come A Knockin'

Book: Three
When the Dead Aren't the only Ones to Fear.

About B.L.Brunnemer

"Love and life are messy. But if you have it, you fight for it."
B.L.Brunnemer has been a devoted reader since she was young. As a child she was instantly attracted to horror stories. The plot, the suspense, the action. She loved it all. Which, as she grew, branched out into several other genres. But a strong female character always caught her eye. Through the years romance became a big part of her reading. Then she found the Young Adult/New Adult genre. But she had a problem. She never found the romance between most characters to be realisic enough for her. At least in the paranormal romance section.
So, she decided to fix that. She'd been writing for years already and had always struggled to finish a manuscript. Until, she decided to write what she wanted to read.

B.L. Brunnemer doesn't have any other publications at this time. She's just a woman, who loves a good story with great characters. And she hopes you'll love them too.

The Seraph Black Series by Jane Washington

***** 5 Star SAR Blog Series Review *****

This is a spoiler free review of all four books of the Seraph Black Series by Jane Washington. I was recommended this series by a C.L. Stone fan. I'm not necessarily into reverse harem type books but I love the concept of the Urban Fantasy feel with unexpected twists, suspense, emotional pulls of several characters. Most of all, could you turn down reading on two hot pairs!

Seraph never had a normal life for as long as she could remember. She always took care of her younger brother, kept a job, to feed themselves but also had to be careful around their abusive father. Little did she know, she was born different, that she was meant to be paired to not only two males but to four? Find out what happens in this series and fall in love with Cabe, Noah, Miro, and Silas like I did!

This series is an Urban Fantasy with some supernatural tendencies thrown in, suspenseful twists, unexpected turns, betrayal, heartbreak, and so much more! Read this series now!

Seraph Black used to think that she was prepared for anything. She could last days without eating, and she always walked away from the violent altercations with her father relatively unharmed. She even survived working at the club, surrounded by the dregs of society, all staring into their bottles instead of noticing the unraveling lives that trailed behind them.

She had thought that she could survive anything, but she wasn’t prepared for Noah and Cabe to come bulldozing into her life, careless of the precious secrets they picked apart in their quest to take over her world. She was even less prepared for the mysterious Miro and Silas, but most of all…

Most of all… it was the stalker that threatened her talent for surviving. She wasn’t ready for the photos, and the messages. The warnings. The threats.

Seraph’s life of surviving in the shadows was over, because the searchlight had found her, and there was nowhere that she could hide.

Seraph Black has endured a vicious stalker, a change of schools, a bonding, a triple-murder, and more than her fair share of uncomfortable situations; but it seems like the world isn’t done with her yet. The messenger is back with a systematic vengeance that knocks her flat, and not even her self-proclaimed secret-keepers are prepared for how far he is willing to go to get what he wants.

She is walking on eggshells, trying to keep everyone at a distance. Especially those that are closest to her. Unfortunately, there is one person who keeps slipping through the cracks: Silas Quillan, the gift in her life that keeps on taking. Every time she turns around, he’s taking something else from her: her choices, her privacy, her freedom, her sanity… and if she’s not careful, the the next victim might just be her heart.

Warning: While this book is intended for a young adult audience, it is not recommended for persons younger than 15 years, due to some disturbing themes.

The past few months have reduced Seraph Black to a permanent state of fight, and now it is all that she knows. She is fighting her friends and family to go off on a suicide mission to rescue Silas, she is fighting the fragmented memories that clamour for recognition inside her mind, and she is fighting a guilt so magnificent… it might just force her to betray the very people that have sacrificed so much to keep her safe.

She had asked for space, and it had been given to her in the most heart-rending of ways, leaving only one of the four brothers remaining by her side.

Miro Quillan is her last hope.

Without him, she may never get her pairs back.

Warning: While this book is intended for a young adult audience, it is not recommended for persons younger than 15 years, due to some themes.

“I had to understand that grief would be a constant in my life, and that it would be different every time it returned to me: the same face hidden beneath a brand new hat. I needed to say goodbye to this chapter of my life, to the grief that had clawed at me, to the threat that had stalked me through the shadows …”

Seraph Black’s entire world has changed. There are no more secrets in her life, but knowledge comes at a price. Memories take their toll. Reality demands a due.
The silent shadow of her past has stepped into the light and revealed himself. He has lost everything, and the only thing left for him to do is to make sure that she loses everything as well.
Survival is a complicated game, but her pairs are determined to become experts at it before they run out of time. If only they knew about the brand of pain in her portraits that was never there before, because something is seriously wrong.
Her visions are changing.
People are dying.
The world is turning on its head once again.

Warning: As the characters in this series are maturing, so is the content. Not suitable for persons younger than 17 years.
